David Ryland is a fourth generation Californian with over three decades of experience as a loan originator, manager, and mentor. His career includes 11 years as a Regional Vice President for a nationally recognized corporation. He is an accomplished fly fisherman and skier, former whitewater guide and the father of five grown children. He and his wife enjoy fishing, backpacking, camping and travel. His favorite pastime is rowing his drift boat down Oregon’s McKenzie River, with his wife casting a fly line from the bow.
Before entering the mortgage industry he worked for the Forest Service in the summers while teaching mathematics and science during the school year. He is a Past President of Granite Bay Rotary. While serving as the fundraising chairman for his club’s Polio Plus campaign, he received international recognition for the success of his efforts.
Active in his community, Dave was Director of the Cedar Oaks Homeowner’s Association in Granite Bay. Now residing in the foothills community of Meadow Vista, he underwrote and spearheaded a landmark court decision benefiting the neighborhood.
