CASA of Fresno and Madera Counties

Astonishingly, there are over 2,000 children in the dependency court system in Fresno and Madera Counties. Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Fresno and Madera Counties is a non-profit organization whose mission is to recruit, train and support volunteers to advocate on behalf of abused and neglected children in the foster care system.

Studies have shown that children who have been assigned a CASA advocate have access to more services, experience fewer placement changes, fewer court appearances, shorter lengths of stay in foster care and have higher permanent placement rates.

CASA is an organization of neutral, court-appointed advocates who are the voice for foster children in our communities; to ensure these children the opportunity for a safe, healthy and happy future.

Big Valley Mortgage’s donations support recruiting and training volunteer advocates.
