Josh Tartar's Bio

Josh has been in the mortgage industry since 2011 and a loan officer since 2014. He does this because, simply put, he loves this work. He joined Big Valley Mortgage to build something meaningful in the Sacramento market, focusing on the communities he knows best.

What sets Josh apart is how seriously he takes the relationships he builds — with his borrowers and with the realtors he partners with. He believes that clear, honest communication is the foundation of every successful transaction, and he holds himself to that standard on every single deal.

Outside of work, Josh plays guitar, travels with his wife and daughter whenever he can, and enjoys everything Sacramento has to offer. His wife is a dermatologist and together they are raising their daughter Ava, who keeps them both on their toes.
